- Comment faire face aux difficultés actuelles de la chaîne logistique ?
Certaines contraintes sont hors de notre contrôle. Nous constatons actuellement une flambée du prix du carburant, ce qui a un impact assez important sur la hausse des taux de fret. Mais également avec la pandémie, toute la chaîne d’approvisionnement logistique a été impactée, ce qui fait que les prix du fret maritime ont augmenté considérablement.

Nous avons toujours une approche positive des choses, nous croyons au potentiel de l’Afrique et à son avenir. Par exemple, ici au Sénégal, il y a le projet du port de Ndayane qui va non seulement décongestionner le port de Dakar qui est logé en centre-ville.
Cela va avoir même un impact sur la circulation des personnes au jour le jour. Avec le pôle logistique à Diamniadio aussi tous les différents projets qui voient le jour sont très positifs pour le Sénégal. Cependant, la congestion dont souffrent les navires à cause du manque d’infrastructures est à souligner, l’état des routes, des projets ferroviaires à développer etc.
Les possibilités sont là mais dépendent de beaucoup de facteurs. Toutefois, le manque d’infrastructures a un impact sur les prix. Ce ne sont pas juste des projets sur papier mais bien réels.
Nous sommes très impressionnés par l’amélioration du Sénégal sur le plan logistique constatée durant ces dernières années, notamment avec le nouvel aéroport de Diass, les autoroutes, les chemins de fer. Il y a un bel avenir pour le Sénégal.
