Le groupe Sonatrach vient de parapher un mémorandum d’entente avec deux sociétés pétrolières sénégalaises Petrosen Exploration & Production et Petrosen Trading & Services pour examiner les possibilités de coopération dans les domaines de l’amont et de l’aval des hydrocarbures.
Cette signature s’inscrit dans le cadre d’une visite de travail d’une délégation de top managers des sociétés pétrolières sénégalaises en Algérie du 31 octobre au 2 novembre 2022, à l’occasion de la visite du président de la République du Sénégal, Macky Sall, invité d’honneur aux travaux du 31e sommet arabe d’Alger, en sa qualité de président en exercice de l’Union africaine (UA).
Le document a été paraphé par le PDG de Sonatrach, Toufik Hakkar et le directeur général de Petrosen Exploration & Production, Thiemo Seydou Ly, et le directeur général de Petrosen Trading & Services, Manar Sall, en présence des cadres dirigeants du groupe.
Le mémorandum d’entente a comme objectif l’examen des moyens de développement de la coopération entre Sonatrach et Petrosen et l’échange d’expériences, en plus de la formation, a fait savoir M. Hakkar lors de la cérémonie de signature.
A cet effet, des visites de délégations sénégalaises sont programmées “dans les semaines prochaines”, aux installations et infrastructures pétrolières et gazières de Sonatrach, alors que des équipes de la compagnie nationale devront, à leur tour, se rendre au Sénégal pour explorer les opportunités de développement au niveau de l’amont et l’aval pétrolier, a ajouté M. Hakkar.
Le directeur général de Petrosen Exploration & Production, s’est réjoui de ce partenariat très ambitieux pour le bénéfice des deux sociétés mais également des deux nations de manière générale et mettant en avant l’importance de l’expertise et du savoir-faire de Sonatrach, soulignant que la signature de ce document constituait « le début d’une grande aventure » qui permettra de développer les capacités de la société nationale sénégalaise créée en 1981.
“En perspective de développement de nos ressources pétrolières et gazières prévus à partir de l’année prochaine, nous pensons que Sonatrach est une excellente référence pour développer nos capacités et compétences afin de relever les défis immenses liés à l’exploitation future de pétrole et du gaz”, a-t-il ajouté.
Thierno Seydou Ly Directeur Général de Petrosen Exploration & Production, a déclaré que « Sontatrach est une belle référence pour capaciter nos ingénieurs, ainsi que l’ensemble du personnel de Petrosen exploration production pour relever les défis immenses liés à l’exploitation future du pétrole et du gaz ».
Rappelons qu’à la suite de la signature de la convention de coopération dans le domaine de la formation entre l’Institut algérien du pétrole (IAP) et l’Institut national du pétrole et du gaz du Sénégal (INPG), le 27 juillet 2021, une première action de formation avait été concrétisée en mode distanciel (e-learning-en mode synchrone).
