La Mauritanie a paraphé un nouveau contrat de 7 mois avec Addax Energy, pour assurer l’approvisionnement en hydrocarbures liquides.
En effet, cet accord vient après l’annulation des résultats de deux appels d’offres, lancés par la commission des hydrocarbures, il y a trois mois.
Le gouvernement, qui se trouvait obligé à renouveler son contrat avec Addax, malgré le prix exorbitant que la société propose, avait adopté la semaine passée, un projet de décret, permettant de confier l’approvisionnement du marché national en produits pétroliers liquides ou gazeux, à une entité publique nationale ou internationale.
Selon le ministre du pétrole, ce nouveau décret permettra au gouvernement de garantir la continuité de l’approvisionnement en hydrocarbure, à moindre coût.
Toutefois, il faut rappeler que Mohamed Ould Ghazouani, avait décidé de laisser à son poste Abdessalam Ould Mohamed Saleh, le ministre du pétrole.
Ce dernier qui devait cependant faire ses preuves à la suite de la tournure des évènement récents avec les dirigeants d’Oryx Energies & Addax, devait absolument trouver des solutions viables pour la Mauritanie. Un véritable défi qu’il doit relever en pleine crise énergétique mondiale causée par la guerre en Ukraine.
