DHL Supply Chain a ouvert en novembre son nouveau centre logistique de Tarascon (Bouches-du-Rhône), dédié aux produits Brasserie de Metro pour le sud de la France. Il dessert les 22 Halles METRO de la région
La nouvelle plateforme, située à quelques kilomètres de la précédente à Arles, bénéficie d’une surface de 13 500 m² dont 12 200m² dédiés au stockage via 5 cellules et 8 portes de quais d’où peuvent être réceptionnées jusqu’à 1320 palettes par jour.
Le site logistique offre une capacité totale de stockage de quasi 10 000 palettes et dispose de près de 790 emplacements picking.
Plus moderne et entièrement isolée thermiquement la plateforme logistique garantit plus de confort aux 25 collaborateurs qui y travaillent.
À travers ce nouveau site, DHL Supply Chain gagne également en agilité sur ses niveaux de stocks, grâce à une plus grande flexibilité des surfaces dédiées à l’activité METRO.
Une nouvelle étape positive dans le partenariat historique entre METRO France et DHL Supply Chain initié en 1988.
