La compagnie hongkongaise n’a pas voulu s’exprimer sur les raisons pour lesquelles sa trajectoire de vol évite l’espace aérien russe, qu’elle a déjà traversé par le passé.
Plusieurs compagnies ont annulé leurs vols vers des villes russes ou évitent l’espace aérien russe depuis l’invasion de l’Ukraine. Le mois dernier, la Russie a également procédé à la fermeture de son ciel à plusieurs pays européens et à tous les vols liés au Royaume-Uni. Cela pour répondre à une interdiction similaire qui leur avait été imposée récemment.
