En 2021, le trafic portuaire a régressé par rapport à 2020, enregistrant 91,04 millions de tonnes contre 92,51 millions de tonnes en 2020, d’après l’OCPM qui souligne des indicateurs de performance en évolution positive.
Le trafic portuaire atteint les 91,04 millions de tonnes (MT) au cours de l’année 2021, représentant un repli comparé en 2020 (92,51 millions de tonnes), comme l’indique l’Observatoire de la compétitivité des ports marocains (OCPM) dans la deuxième édition de son rapport.
En 2019, le trafic portuaire était de 88 MT (millions de tonnes), rapporte Aujourd’hui le Maroc dans son édition de ce 12 septembre. Sur les 91,04 MT enregistrées en 2021, 60,2% (54,8 MT) représentent l’import, 36,4% (33,1 MT) l’export et 3,4% (3,1 MT) le cabotage.
Par port, 35,1 MT ont transité par le port de Jorf Lasfar, 29 MT par celui de Casablanca, 6,5 MT par le port de Safi, 5,6 MT par le port d’Agadir, 4,7 MT par le port de Mohammedia, 3,9 MT par le port de Nador, 3,3 MT par le port de Safi Atlantique, 2,2 MT par le port de Laâyoune, 598.000 T par le port de Dakhla et 88.000 T par le port de Tan Tan en 2021.
Qu’en est-il des principaux trafics stratégiques? A fin 2021, l’activité globale des conteneurs a atteint un volume de plus de 12,25 MT, en hausse de 1,4% comparé à 2020. Le trafic des céréales, de 7,1 MT, est en recul de 24,1%, le trafic des hydrocarbures, de 10 MT, en amélioration de 8,5% et le trafic des phosphates et dérivés, de 35 MT, en repli de 4,2%.
Dans ladite publication, l’OCPM révèle que les trafics de «charbon et coke», «produits sidérurgiques» et «bois et dérivés» ont affiché respectivement des volumes de 12,1 MT (+6,4%), de 1,47 MT (-4,9%) et de 725.949 T (+10%), comme le relaie le journal.
Quant au trafic de véhicules neufs, il est en évolution de 35,8% comparé à 2020 avec 91.268 unités. En d’autres termes, les indicateurs de performance du trafic portuaire ont connu des mutations positives.
