The FNTR has launched an ESG rating system (Environment, Social and Governance) dedicated to transport and logistics, also enabling companies in this sector to have their social commitment officially recognized and their extra-financial performances thanks to the support of the extra-financial analysis and advice organization EthiFinance.
This annual rating assessing ESG "performance" at time t, provides the opportunity to engage in a process of progress. However, it may result in obtaining the Responsible Transport and Logistics Label, built with the EthiFinance agency, which may be profitable for companies in their dealings with banking establishments and in a logic of attractiveness of the employer brand.
To this end, the road hauliers' federation states that "in the proliferation of initiatives and benchmarks that exist today aimed at certifying or labeling ESG-responsible companies, none were specific to the transport and logistics sector ».
