The Dascher Group, which has been present in Morocco for 20 years and specializes in logistics and transport, is coming to the end of a complicated year. Its consolidated sales in Morocco fell below the 300 million dirham mark. This article is a press review taken from Challenge magazine.

The German logistics company, which gained a foothold in our country in 2004, has seen its consolidated sales in Morocco fall below the 300 million dirham mark.

This is what Challenge magazine reports, pointing out that the group had managed to consolidate this amount in the wake of the Covid-19 crisis and, above all, in the wake of the entry into service, in March 2021, of its new logistics warehouse in Tangier Med, which covers an area of 5,500 m2 and offers storage capacity for over 7,000 pallets.

“With overall sales of around 285 million dirhams and shipments of around 60,000 units, the group, which has three subsidiaries in Morocco (Dascher Morocco, Dascher Tangiers and Dascher Logistics Tangiers), is experiencing increased growth, particularly from major local players such as Interload & Nejtrans and FTT”, we read.

The latter have also obtained AEO (AEO) Security and Safety certification, issued by the French Customs and Indirect Taxation Administration (ADII), enabling them to reinforce their credibility and reputation as a reliable trading partner.

The logistics group, whose world headquarters are in Kempten, Germany, will have 224 employees in Morocco by the end of 2023, spread across six sites: the three national agencies in Casablanca, Mohammedia and Tangier, the intercontinental platform in the Tangier Med Hub logistics free zone, and the representative office at Mohammed V airport and Tangier Med.

Dascher Morocco offers a range of services to its Moroccan customers, from road, air and sea transport to warehousing, as well as very specific services for products requiring special handling.

The trend is global. “Worldwide, the Dascher Group reported consolidated sales down 12.5% on 2022, to 7.1 billion euros (just under 80 billion dirhams) for a volume of goods transported down 4.6% with 77.4 million shipments,” the magazine states.
