Des améliorations qui ont positivement impacté les transporteurs, dont le temps d’acconage dans le terminal a diminué de plus de 2 jours en moyenne, relaie Le Nouveau Gabon.
Selon l’opérateur du terminal à conteneurs du port d’Owendo, ces résultats ont été obtenus grâce aux investissements réalisés pour la formation et le recrutement de nouveaux talents locaux, ainsi que la digitalisation des processus opérationnels et commerciaux au profit de l’efficience du passage portuaire des conteneurs. Le dragage du quai a également été réalisé pour maintenir le niveau de service.
Ces efforts dans l’investissement et l’amélioration de l’efficience « nous ont permis de garder des prix stables pour la 5ème année consécutive, concourant ainsi pleinement à accompagner les initiatives du gouvernement gabonais dans la lutte contre la vie chère », poursuit Laurent Goutard.
