THE POST.

Context:

Bioforce is a humanitarian organization that intervenes in preparation for and response to crises arising from conflict, natural disaster or epidemic.

Bioforce provides training, support and structuring solutions to enable access to effective and quality assistance for vulnerable populations. Bioforce is looking for a Water, Hygiene and Sanitation (WASH) and Infrastructure and Technical Equipment (ITE) skills centers on the one hand, a Development Officer Intern, based in Vénissieux.

The main objective of this internship is to contribute to the development of innovative content and the capitalization process within the “Water, Hygiene and Sanitation (EHA)” and “Infrastructure and Technical Equipment (IET)” skills centers, in particular through the development and consolidation of educational materials.

Highlights of this internship? Alongside the team of the Bioforce Engineering and Quality Department, you will carry out various missions to strengthen the capacities of those involved in responding to humanitarian crises. In particular, you will participate in monitoring and analyzing the issues and new intervention approaches in the sector.

Activities:

Reporting to the EHA and IET Technical and Educational Advisors, your missions will be to:

  1. Update existing course materials:
  • Update the graphic charter of educational materials
  • Carry out a complete proofreading of course materials with correction of spelling and syntax
  • Formalize Educational Sheets and Scenarios based on existing resources in close collaboration with the relevant technical and educational referents
  • Formalize learning packages and sort additional bibliographic resources
  • Ensure the implementation of summary sheets for all courses in the center.
  • Capitalize on educational material on the internal Bioforce server and on the Bioforce online course platform
  1. Brief trainers on the “pedagogy” aspects of specific courses in close collaboration with the relevant technical and educational advisors.
  2. Participate in “life-size” humanitarian mission simulation exercises.
  3. Represent Bioforce in specific networks in close collaboration with the relevant technical and educational representatives.

DESIRED PROFILE.

  • Knowledge & experience:
  • Mastery of essential IT tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Mastery of Internet research tools
  • Fluency in English is a plus
  • Technical knowledge (engineering) will be appreciated
  • Experience in the humanitarian or development sector is a plus

Training:

You are a Master 2 student at university, IEP Political Sciences, Schools specializing in international development, Social Sciences, Project Management, Educational Engineering, etc.

Qualities :

You are said to be organized, dynamic, and have good research, synthesis and writing skills. You have a taste for teamwork, you are responsive, rigorous and you know how to take initiatives.
