Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) a commandé en décembre dernier dix porte-conteneurs de type dual fuel GNL d’une capacité de 11.400 EVP.
Selon Tradewinds, ces navires destinés à rejoindre la flotte de la compagnie suisse seront construits dans les chantiers chinois du groupe Zhoushan Changhong International. Leur prix unitaire devrait s’élever à 120 millions de dollars.
Le numéro un mondial de la ligne régulière conteneurisée devrait prendre livraison en Chine de ces dix porte-conteneurs entre 2025 et 2026.
