Nigerian logistics provider Messenger successfully completes an undisclosed financing round

Messenger, a Nigerian logistics start-up, announced on Tuesday June 13 the successful completion of a pre-seed round. The round was led by Nama Ventures, with the participation of Aidi Ventures, among others. No amounts were disclosed.

Founded in 2018 by Amanda and Essien Etuk, the start-up will use the funds to finance its growth.

"Amanda and Essien make an incredible team with their domain expertise and complementary skills. Messenger is also tackling a huge market in its service offering, something we always look for when evaluating opportunities," explained Mohammed Alzubi, founder and managing partner of Nama Ventures.
