The LabelVie group chooses Weexa to implement a warehouse management system (WMS) in Morocco and Côte d'Ivoire to support its rapid and sustained expansion in Africa.

The LabelVie group (franchised Carrefour, Carrefour Market, Carrefour Express, Carrefour Gourmet and Atacadão), one of the leading supermarket chains in Morocco and Côte d'Ivoire, has just teamed up with the Weexa group, specialists in systems integration dedicated to the digitization of the supply chain (WMS and TMS) and B2B/EDI flows, to implement a warehouse management system (WMS) designed to support its rapid and sustained development in Africa.

With over 156 points of sale in 29 towns and cities in Morocco, and a growing presence in Côte d'Ivoire, the LabelVie group is seeking to improve product traceability, service quality and logistics productivity to meet the challenges of its growth.

Following the takeover of Côte d'Ivoire's number 2 food retailer, the LabelVie group is expanding rapidly, opening new stores in all the countries where it operates, making a high-performance warehouse management system all the more critical.

"Working with the Weexa Group was an obvious choice for LabelVie. Their expertise in logistics flow management and their in-depth knowledge of WMS are major assets for our company.

We are convinced that this collaboration will strengthen our ability to meet the growing expectations of our customers, and enable us to continue our successful expansion in Morocco and Côte d'Ivoire," confides Abdallah Bahri, who is in charge of the WMS deployment project in Morocco and Côte d'Ivoire for the LabelVie Group,

As a long-standing partner for over 20 years of the Generix group, a French publisher of software solutions dedicated to logistics, the Weexa group is recognized for its expertise in implementing WMS systems for numerous manufacturers, logistics service providers and specialized distributors in Morocco and internationally (notably in Africa and Europe).

The key factors in LabelVie's choice of the Weexa group were the company's long experience in the retail sector, its expertise in logistics flow management and its in-depth knowledge of Generix's WMS.

"Smooth and efficient

"LabelVie and Le Groupe Weexa are resolutely committed to the success of this WMS integration project. We're working closely together to ensure that LabelVie's development runs smoothly and efficiently at every stage," enthuses Anne Guillot, Supply Chain Business Unit Manager at Weexa.

Currently in the design phase, deployment of the project is progressing according to schedule. Although it is still too early to present quantified results, the LabelVie Group is confident of the benefits the new WMS system will bring to its logistics operations.

User and customer satisfaction is a priority for the LabelVie Group, and the company expects its collaboration with the Weexa Group to further strengthen its leading position in the retail market.
