Le développement d’une nouvelle solution MSC Air Cargo en réponse à la demande des clients et en complément de ses solutions d’expédition de conteneurs vient d’être entamé par MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company SA, un leader mondial du transport et de la logistique.
Depuis plusieurs mois MSC Air Cargo est en développement et la nouvelle solution sera disponible à partir de début 2023, suite à la livraison du premier des quatre Boeing 777-200F de marque MSC qui seront exploités par Atlas Air, une filiale d’Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc.
Jannie Davel, anciennement de Delta Cargo, Emirates SkyCargo et DHL a été nommé par MSC pour développer son activité de fret aérien et constituer l’équipe qui la mettra en œuvre.

Il s’agit de notre premier pas sur ce marché et nous prévoyons de continuer à explorer diverses voies pour développer le fret aérien d’une manière qui complète notre cœur de métier, le transport de conteneurs » a commenté le président-directeur général de MSC, Soren Toft en ce qui concerne cette nouvelle initiative.
