Le secteur de la logistique est devenu plus dynamique ces derniers temps, avec d’importants projets d’investissement et d’élargissement des activités dévoilés par des entreprises vietnamiennes et étrangères.
Alors qu’il compte déjà 120 bureaux de représentation dans 40 pays, SEKO Logistics États-Unis) vient de procéder à l’inauguration de son bureau de représentation au Vietnam. SEKO Logistics Vietnam dispose d’un système d’entreposage aux normes internationales d’une superficie totale de plus de 300.000 m² à Hô Chi Minh-Ville, Binh Duong, Dà Nang, Hai Phong et Quang Ninh.

Anthony Barnes, directeur général de SEKO Logistics chargé de la région Asie-Pacifique déclare que « de nombreuses entreprises trouvent qu’il est facile de s’approvisionner au Vietnam, mais le transport rapide des marchandises à des coûts optimaux est toujours un grand défis.
« Sur la base des perspectives de croissance économique, de la bonne direction du gouvernement pour améliorer la capacité logistique, nous voyons une opportunité croissante au Vietnam avec de plus en plus de groupes de production internationaux entrant sur le marché, augmentant la production et les activités d’import-export » a-t-il expliqué.
Évaluant le potentiel du marché de la logistique vietnamien avec un taux de croissance moyen de 18% par an, avec trois leviers Linh Le, directrice exécutive de SEKO Logistics Vietnam note : « le chiffre d’affaires à l’import-export, les investissements étrangers et la population de 100 millions d’habitants. »
Le Vietnam ne cesse faire la promotion de sa coopération avec de grands partenaires commerciaux comme les États-Unis, la Chine, le Japon, la Corée du Sud, et l’Europe.
Ses produits d’exportation sont présents dans plus de 125 pays et territoires à travers le monde. De ce fait, SEKO a prévu que la production et la valeur des produits d’exportation du Vietnam vers l’Europe, l’Amérique du Nord et le Japon vont connaitre une croissance exceptionnelle ces prochaines années, notamment dans les secteurs du textile-habillement et de la chaussure, des hautes technologies, de l’industrie manufacturière, de l’automobile…

Le groupe IPP a aussi créé la société Bellazio Logistics spécialisée dans le transport et la construction de chaînes d’entrepôts. Autre exemple avec MSC Vietnam, qui a l’intention de construire un port de transbordement dans le district de Cân Gio.
Il faut préciser que le Vietnam compte plus de 33.200 entreprises de transport et de logistique, dont près de la moitié à Hô Chi Minh-Ville (10.800 unités) et à Hanoï (5.000). Si les entreprises étrangères ne représentent que 2 à 3% du total des entreprises de logistique, elles détiennent 70 à 80% des parts de marché.
