The Amazon School is expanding its curriculum with two new courses at Bac and Bac+2 levels, open to all employees at our French sites.

Launched in 2021 with AFPA, Amazon's diploma training program was extended this year to all its French sites (distribution centers, sorting centers and delivery agencies), enabling 350 employees to obtain a state-recognized diploma.

According to Amazon, this accelerated training program enables current employees to obtain a diploma equivalent to a CAP/BEP in logistics warehouse order picking in four to six weeks, compared with six to seven months for traditional students.

The Amazon School is designed to support the skills development of the group's employees, who report that 76% of team supervisors started out as logistics agents, and that employees change jobs or progress every two to three years.

New curricula for logistics technicians

In response to employees' strong interest in this free training program, AFPA and Amazon have added two new courses leading to diplomas at Bac and Bac +2 levels.

The "Warehousing Logistics Technician" course is aimed at team leaders, and includes a section devoted to developing their managerial and communication skills, as well as managing diversity and disabled employees. 10 baccalaureate holders have already benefited from this training, which can be completed by a "senior technician in logistics methods and operations" course leading to a Bac+ 2 diploma.
