Manhattan Associates (NASDAQ: MANH), a global provider of supply chain software solutions, and Shopify (NYSE, TSX: SHOP) announce a new partnership to help retailers deliver unified omnichannel shopping experiences. Shopify, the leading e-commerce platform, will partner with Manhattan's leading omnichannel order management solution to facilitate the creation of highly personalized customer experiences at every stage of the shopping journey.

"The innovations developed by Manhattan to improve the speed, ease, reliability and transparency of shopping enable our customers to offer much smoother shopping experiences and reinforce the trust placed in them by their own customers. We're proud to join forces with Shopify to optimize the e-commerce experience," says Brian Kinsella, Manhattan's Senior Vice President of Products.

"Our joint offering enables retailers to improve their customer satisfaction rates and boost their sales and margin potential."

This combined solution also integrates Manhattan's dedicated customer service tools, such as digital self-services solutions that offer the visibility, flexibility and ease that today's consumers expect in their post-purchase interactions with their retailers. Nautica, a SPARC Group brand, is the first customer to sign up to this joint offering.

"Thanks to the combination of Shopify's e-commerce platform and Manhattan's powerful features for order management and orchestration and post-purchase tracking, our customers will benefit from unrivalled visibility and the best e-commerce experience on the market," comments Mike Dupuis, Director of Digital Transformation at SPARC Group. "We believe that for SPARC, using this pairing will result in increased sales, reduced shipping costs, fewer returns, and improved margins and profits."

Shopify currently equips millions of businesses worldwide, and accounts for 10% of ecommerce in the USA. Thanks to this new integration with Manhattan Active® Omni, consumers will have access to more precise information on product location and delivery.

In addition, brands using Shopify will benefit from global inventory visibility across the entire network, including items in transit, in stores, in warehouses, at suppliers and other storage locations.

"We're delighted to be teaming up with Manhattan, as this is a major step forward in transforming logistics operations for the retail sector," concludes Bobby Morrison, chief revenue office at Shopify.

"This is a game-changer in a particularly competitive market, and we're proud to provide Retail solutions that will help significantly improve unified shopping experiences for consumers."
