The 9th annual meeting of the Africa Logistics Network (ALN) will be held in Nairobi, Kenya, from October 8 to 11, 2023. Once again, a joint meeting with ALNA, Airfreight Logistics Network for Africa, ALN's sister network, has arrived at its 2nd in-person meeting.

Network growth has been impressive in recent years: ALN has 220 members, 80 of them in Africa and 140 on other continents. 100% of Africa is covered by at least one member.

"My father and I founded ALN because we wanted to be stronger in Africa with our freight forwarding company - explains Marcello Saponaro, president of Africa Logistics Network -. Not to have yet another "network". The aim was to have the best network of small and medium-sized businesses in Africa, to support our company and to support every member of ALN".

"And we did it - says Marcello Saponaro - because we are now the only network with 100% of Africa covered by professional forwarders". The main part of the conference is devoted to one-to-one meetings between participating network members, but there will be plenty of opportunities to strengthen friendships and trust during the social period: time spent over lunches and dinners.

As usual, an important moment is the Africa Logistics Awards ceremony, which will take place during the gala dinner at the Cultiva Kenya Farm restaurant on October 9. Two companies, either ALN or ALNA members, from each of the six categories, will be rewarded.

  • Top agents worldwide
  • Best agents in Africa
  • Main agents in the Middle East
  • Best agents in Asia and Oceania
  • Best agents in the Americas
  • Europe's top agents

The vote between ALN and ALNA members will take place 15 days before the event. After the 3-day meeting, the group will spend a day as tourists in Nairobi National Park. African Logistics Network and Airfreight Logistics Network for Africa
