(Africa Supply Chain) - "DHL Global Forwarding Senegal" DGF SN-SA has changed its corporate name to "Africa Forwarding Services Senegal" AFS SN-SA as (DHL Global Forwarding's exclusive agent in Senegal). The name change follows last year's takeover of DHL Global Forwarding's Senegal and Côte d'Ivoire subsidiaries by Ivorian businessman Stéphane Eholié, who is also CEO of the SIMAT group (Société ivoirienne de manutention et de transit).

According to the management press release we received, the name change came into effect on July 1 of this year, and the new entity (AFS) is now a pan-African company that will reflect in its approach all the values that have always brought its employees together.

Par ailleurs, le communiqué indique que les coordonnées téléphoniques et adresse de l’entreprise resteront intacts à l’exception du logo et des adresses emails qui seront mis à jour pour refléter la nouvelle raison sociale.

In the words of AFS Managing Director Lamine CISSE: "This name change will in no way hinder the commercial relations between the company and its existing customers, suppliers & partners.
