CMA CGM is investing $600 million to increase the potential of two of its terminals in New York and New Jersey, USA.

CMA CGM is investing $600 million in the renovation of two of its U.S. terminals at the ports of New York and Bayonne, New Jersey. Named "Port Liberty New York" and "Port Liberty Bayonne", these terminals will see their capacities increased by 80%, enabling larger vessels to dock, thus speeding up imports into North America.

In partnership with the states of New York and New Jersey, the rail and road infrastructure around the terminals will be upgraded to help decarbonize operations.

Consolidation of port assets in the United States

Port Liberty New York and Port Liberty Bayonne are part of CMA CGM's U.S. expansion plan, representing strategic gateways to the U.S. East Coast. CMA CGM has been present in this country for some forty years, and these improvements will have a major impact on the Group's growth. To date, CMA CGM operates a portfolio of seven terminals in the United States.
