The Institut spécialisé dans les métiers de l'aéronautique et de la logistique aéroportuaire (ISMALA SA) now has its articles of association and shareholders' agreement. The launch of ISMALA opens up new prospects for Morocco's economic development, strengthening its position as a regional hub for aeronautics.

This is a promising collaboration for the aeronautics and logistics professions. The Office of Vocational Training and Labor Promotion (OFPPT) and the Moroccan Aeronautical and Space Industries Group (GIMAS) have formalized the creation of the company of the Institute specializing in the aeronautics and construction professions. airport logistics (ISMALA SA) by signing the statutes and the shareholders’ agreement.

This initiative marks an important step in the realization of the "Cap Excellence" project, developed in partnership with the Ministry of Industry and Trade. As a reminder, the "Cap Excellence" project, part of the roadmap for the development of vocational training, aims to modernize the management and teaching of OFPPT institutes dedicated to the industrial sector, with particular emphasis on ISMALA for the aeronautical sector.

The implementation of a governance model based on a limited company (SA), created within the framework of a public-private partnership, is one of the main thrusts of this ambitious project. OFPPT General Manager,

Loubna Tricha, welcomed the completion of the final stage in the setting up of ISMALA SA, a company to be entrusted with the management of institutes specializing in aeronautics and airport logistics.

ISMALA's shareholders' agreement provides for a share capital of 300,000 dirhams, divided into 3,000 shares of 100 dirhams each, shared between OFPPT (49%) and GIMAS (51%). This strategic distribution reflects the balanced commitment of the two entities to ensure the success and long-term future of the institute.

"This governance model was born of the mutual trust between OFPPT and GIMAS, and their shared desire to combine their strengths in the service of the Moroccan aeronautics industry and Morocco's positioning on the international scene, on the one hand, but also the ambition to offer young graduates in this sector the best opportunities for integration and the best career opportunities," Tricha details.

A notable aspect of the project is the inclusion of OFPPT staff in the ISMALA SA workforce. This will ensure a smooth transition and continuity of skills within the institute.

The staff recruited by ISMALA SA will thus contribute to reinforcing the expertise and quality of the training provided. By integrating modern management standards and best pedagogical practices, ISMALA SA aims to meet the growing needs of the aeronautical sector for qualified manpower.
