Pour fluidifier et simplifier les procédures douanières au niveau Porc sec d’Adétikopé, le Togo a décidé de mettre le paquet. Une démarche qui lui permet de se positionner plus que jamais comme le hub logistique de l’Afrique de l’ouest.
Le port sec d’Adétikopé (banlieue nord de Lomé) qui est devenu fonctionnel depuis le mois de septembre 2021 a depuis peu, désencombré le trafic conteneurs du Port autonome de Lomé (PAL).
Kokou Edem Tengue, ministre en charge de l’Économie Maritime informa que « désormais, tous les conteneurs débarqués au Port autonome de Lomé (PAL) et à destination de l’hinterland (Burkina Faso, Niger et Mali) transiteront par le terminal de la plateforme industrielle d’Adétikopé ».
Il a précisé lors d’une réunion qui s’est tenue le 26 avril dernier avec les principaux acteurs du secteur que toutes les procédures douanières au niveau du Porc sec d’Adétikopé se feront auprès d’un guichet unique, ce qui assure une plus grande accessibilité du trafic de marchandises et favorise le commerce intra-africain.
Le ministère de l’Économie Maritime, de la Pêche et de la Protection Côtière a indiqué que « l’’infrastructure permet de centraliser les démarches administratives logistiques au sein d’un guichet unique et de fournir des statistiques fiables, permettant au gouvernement du Togo d’anticiper au mieux les besoins à venir et de construire une stratégie logistique solidifiée ».
Les échanges avec les principaux acteurs ont surtout permis de consolider la coordination de toutes les étapes relatives au transfert des conteneurs.
À cet effet, il a été décidé du transfert de 30 conteneurs en provenance de Togo Terminal vers la Plateforme Industrielle d’Adétikopé (PIA), une manière maximiser le port sec d’Adétikopé.
Lors des échanges, les participants ont exposé les prérogatives de l’opérationnalisation du Port Sec et ont émis des suggestions sur les perspectives de progrès et d’optimisation des procédures de transfert des conteneurs en transit.
L’opérationnalisation du port sec d’Adétikopé impactent positivement les différents acteurs de la logistique au Togo. Il faut souligner qu’il constitue un véritable atout en termes de fluidité de transport et de rapidité dans les opérations portuaires.
