M. Samba Ndiaye, Directeur Général de GTS-SA, M. Christophe Matin, Directeur Général de l’Institut de formation ferroviaire (IFF) du Maroc et M. Karim Eddine Chennouf, Président du Directoire de l’IFF ont signé, lundi 28 mars 2022, un Protocole d’accord. La cérémonie a eu pour cadre, la Direction Générale de GTS-SA.
Selon le DG Samba Ndiaye, le Sénégal entre dans un nouvel air de transport ferroviaire avec le Ter et GTS doit jouer un rôle important dans la continuité allant de Diamniadio à l’intérieur du pays.
«Gts-SA doit participer ainsi à la démocratisation du Train express Régional. L’agence va contribuer à un transport de masse à la croisée des chemins qui va nous rapprocher de ce qui se fait de meilleur au monde. Le combat étant d’être parmi les meilleurs», a-t-il déclaré.
Il est d’avis qu’il est inadmissible que la structure qu’il dirige ne profite pas de cette entité avec laquelle elle vient de pactiser sur tout ce qui se fait en termes de management de sécurité dans le système ferroviaire : «il s’agit d’asseoir l’ancrage d’un système de sécurité rigoureux. C’est-à-dire, se renforcer en management de sécurité ferroviaire. Car, la sécurité doit être au cœur de ce qui se fait dans le domaine».
Sur le processus qui a abouti à la signature de ce protocole d’accord, le DG de GTS-SA a laissé entendre que cela a démarré pendant un panel en ligne qui a été organisé par GTS et qui a regroupé plusieurs organisations dont l’Iff.
Par la suite, note le DG, les conducteurs Sénégalais ont été formés au niveau de l’institut. Récemment, une visite a été faite au Maroc pour mieux se familiariser avec la structure. L’idée étant de mieux comprendre les enjeux.
Par ailleurs, Christophe Martin, Directeur Général de l’IFF est d’avis que : «ce protocole d’accord entre GTS-SA et l’IFF, va servir de cadre de partage d’expériences et d’enjeux sur le système de management de sécurité.
Il va par ricochet permettre d’améliorer le dispositif de façon continue, définir la politique de sécurité, évaluer et gérer des processus tout en prévenant les risques. Il s’agira d’anticiper en identifiant des dangers potentiels et événements indésirables».
