Six portiques de parc ont été réceptionnés par la Côte d’Ivoire Terminal pour le second terminal à conteneurs en cours de construction du port d’Abidjan. Cette livraison déployée sur un navire semi-submersible spécialisé dans le transport de portiques, fait partie d’une commande globale de 13 portiques de parc.
Mesurant 30 mètres de haut, ces engins de manutention permettront de garantir le chargement, le déchargement et le rangement des conteneurs sur le parc à conteneurs. Les nouveaux portiques fournis par ZPMC sont dotés des dernières technologies.
Elles intègrent notamment un système de contrôle de pointe et un système d’alimentation électrique de nouvelle génération qui leur permet de diminuer en conséquence les émissions de CO2 mais également la consommation d’énergie.
Koen De Backker, Directeur général de Côte d’Ivoire Terminal déclare que « les nouveaux portiques de parc qui ont été réceptionnés participent de la démarche écoresponsable mise en œuvre dans le cadre de ce projet. Outre les constructions aux normes environnementales pointues, les équipements du futur terminal participent du processus de labellisation Green Terminal ».
La réception de ces premiers équipements constitue une étape primordial du projet de construction de ce terminal, dont l’objectif est d’améliorer la desserte logistique de la Côte d’Ivoire et des pays de la sous-région.
Le second terminal du port d’Abidjan sera équipé à sa mise en service en novembre 2022, de 6 portiques de quai, 13 portiques de parcs et 36 tracteurs, tous électriques grâce à un investissement global de 262 milliards de FCFA.
Par ailleurs, Olivier De Noray, Directeur Général des concessions Bolloré Ports a indiqué que « ces équipements sont les premiers d’une longue série, avec la réception prochaine, en mai 2022, des premiers tracteurs électriques et des portiques de quai en août 2022 ».
Il précise également que « l’arrivée de ce matériel matérialise les engagements d’investissements pris par Côte d’Ivoire Terminal et ses actionnaires de référence, Bolloré et APMT ».
