Par ailleurs, «la concession du terminal support logistique des activités pétrolières et gazières et celle du terminal de Gaz naturel liquéfié du Port de Dakar, accordées aux nationaux, est une grande première dans l’histoire des concessions au Port de Dakar» a-t-il indiqué .
Au niveau de la zone nord, le Directeur général et sa délégation se sont réjouis de l’état d’avancement des travaux en matière de voirie et réaménagement de l’espace, notamment l’installation au môle 4 d’une centrale électrique qui sera à terme connectée au navire Karpowership, ce qui permettra d’alimenter en gaz liquéfié, les installations de la Senelec. Il faut rappeler que cette centrale contribue largement à l’atteinte des besoins en énergie électrique du pays actuellement ».
