Maersk a décidé de suspendre ses activités avec la Russie. Toutefois, le géant du transport va tout de même finir de livrer les commandes en cours.
Le spécialiste danois du transport maritime Maersk annonce qu’il se prépare à une suspension temporaire des réservations à destination et en provenance de la Russie et de l’ensemble de ses ports, à l’exception des produits alimentaires, médicales et humanitaires. Une décision prise suite à l’intervention militaire de la Russie en Ukraine.
Une annonce qui vise le transport maritime et terrestre, afin de suivre les sanctions et restrictions imposées à la Russie. Néanmoins, la société a souligné qu’elle honorerait tant que possible la livraison des marchandises déjà en cours d’acheminement vers leur destination prévue. La fermeture de l’espace aérien avec la Russie a affecté également les services aériens de Maersk.
Actuellement, du côté de ses activités en provenance ou en direction de l’Ukraine, totalement à l’arrêt, Maersk avait annoncé le 27 février qu’elle proposerait des aides pour ses clients afin d’accéder à d’autres ports. Le tout, avec une possibilité de changement de destination sans frais ou d’annulation.
