Alors que le secteur automobile se prépare à l’entrée en vigueur de la norme antipollution Euro 6 B, un arrêté commun du ministère du Transport et de la Logistique et du ministère de la Transition énergétique vient épargner pour 24 mois supplémentaires les poids lourds.
Censé initialement concerner toutes les catégories de véhicules au 1er janvier 2023, afin de réduire l’impact des émissions de gaz à effet de serre sur l’environnement, le calendrier de l’entrée en vigueur de la norme écologique Euro 6 B pour l’importation des véhicules au Maroc a connu quelques changements.
En effet, suite à des consultations menées avec les professionnels du secteur du transport, les constructeurs et les importateurs de véhicules, le ministère du Transport et de Logistique et le ministère de la Transition énergétique ont décidé à travers un arrêté commun de maintenir l’entrée en vigueur de la norme Euro 6 B pour les véhicules légers à partir du 1er janvier 2023.
Ces véhicules constituent en effet 67% du parc automobile national. Les deux administrations ont par ailleurs décidé de prolonger le délai de 24 mois pour les autres types de véhicules, notamment les poids lourds.
Publié au Bulletin officiel du 29 décembre 2022, cet arrêté commun intervient suite à l’impact négatif de la crise sanitaire sur les chaînes d’approvisionnement, la hausse du taux de change du dollar, la flambée des prix des carburants et le contexte inflationniste en général.
