Chari, la startup marocaine, qui a développé une application mobile permettant aux commerces de proximité de commander tout ce dont ils ont besoin, à des prix compétitifs et avec la promesse d’être livrés gratuitement en moins de vingt-quatre heures, annonce l’extension progressive de son activité à l’ensemble du territoire marocain. Cela fait suite au premier test concluant sur l’axe El Jadida-Tanger.
Chari a procédé au lancement de son premier entrepôt à Casablanca en janvier 2020 puis a ouvert un deuxième à Tanger durant le quatrième trimestre 2021.
Plus de quinze mille épiceries ont été couverte par l’équipe de Chari grâce à ces deux entrepôts régionaux. sur l’ensemble de l’axe Atlantique nord. Chari annonce ce 22 mars l’ouverture simultanée de sept nouveaux entrepôts dans les villes de Marrakech, Agadir, Khouribga, Meknes, Oujda, Errachidia et Laayoune.
Il faut noter que Chari est une application de e-commerce qui permet aux épiceries de proximité de s’approvisionner de l’ensemble des produits revendus dans leur point de vente et de se faire livrer gratuitement en moins de 24h.
Les services de Chari sont utilisés par plus de cinq mille épiceries tous les mois avec une fréquence moyenne de commande hebdomadaire.
En plus d’une croissance organique mensuelle de près de 15% lui permettant d’atteindre un chiffre d’affaires annuel de 500 millions de dirhams en 2022, Chari a également fait l’acquisition du carnet de crédit virtuel Karny.ma utilisé par plus de 50 000 points de vente au Maroc.
En parallèle à ces ouvertures de nouveaux entrepôts, Chari a procédé à l’inauguration de son nouveau siège de Casablanca qui accueille un service client d’une centaine de positions de télévendeurs.
La startup devient ainsi un acteur national du e-commerce B2B et propose de nombreux services à ses partenaires producteurs de marques de grande consommation telles que : une visibilité accrue de leurs produits sur l’application Chari ; Des données détaillées sur la vente de leur produits sur le canal traditionnel.
Des outils marketing permettant de diffuser des messages précis aux épiciers. « En seulement deux ans, Chari a su s’imposer dans le paysage de la distribution de produits de grande consommation au Maroc.
Nous sommes fiers du chemin parcouru alors que nous n’en sommes qu’à nos débuts » a déclaré Ismael Belkhayat, co-fondateur et PDG de Chari.
Monsieur Yassine Dallihi quant à lui est nommé country manager Maroc de Chari. Cet expert en distribution a fait ses armes chez Procter & Gamble et chez l’Oreal avant de rejoindre l’équipe de la startup marocaine. Khalid Debbarh est nommé directeur des achats en charge des relations avec les fournisseurs.
