L’expert-comptable Mehdi Ibn Abdelouahab va poursuivre le processus de liquidation des actifs de la société en charge de l’exploitation et de la maintenance du Gazoduc Maghreb-Europe (GME).
L’Office national des hydrocarbures et des mines (Onhym) a repris, le 1er février 2022, la société Metragaz et assure, depuis, la gestion de la maintenance et de la sécurisation du GME, avec une équipe dédiée, comme l’avaitLE360 annoncé .
Une source à l’Onhym nous a confié que « la société Metragaz n’existe plus. Elle a été liquidée par les actionnaires et son personnel déjà indemnisé».
Sollicitée par nos soins, une récente annonce légale annonce la désignation de l’expert-comptable Mehdi Ibn Abdelouahab, du cabinet Baker Tilly, en tant que liquidateur. L’avis de sa nomination a été déposée au greffe du tribunal de commerce de Tanger.
Il faut rappeler que la société Metragaz, créée en juillet 1992, avait pour mission de mettre en œuvre les travaux de construction, puis suite à la mise en service du GME, d’assurer les activités d’exploitation et de maintenance des installations du gazoduc.
Son actionnariat était composé de l’espagnol Naturgy (77%), du portugais Galp Energia (22%) et de l’Onhym (0,68%) avant de passer dans le giron de l’Onhym.
Le Maroc s’apprête à signer son premier contrat d’achat de Gaz naturel liquéfié (GNL) sur le marché international.
Pour assurer ses besoins en gaz naturel après la rupture, fin octobre 2021, du contrat avec l’Algérien Sonatrach, le scénario retenu par le gouvernement consiste à acquérir du GNL sur le marché international, le décharger à travers des méthaniers dans un port espagnol, puis dans une usine de regazéification de la péninsule avant de l’injecter dans le GME pour atteindre les deux stations thermiques fonctionnant au gaz naturel.
Le même interlocuteur ajoute néanmoins que « que le Gazoduc Maghreb-Europe est déjà opérationnel pour l’inversement du flux», assure-t-on du côté de l’Onhym. «Les différents tests réalisés ont en effet validé le processus. Le GME est prêt à recevoir le gaz en provenance du Nord».
