Senegal: Sentrak Logistics signs onshore support logistics contract with Modec for Sangomar oil exploitation

Sentrak Logistics, a leading company in oil & gas logistics in Senegal, has entered into a final agreement with the Senegalese subsidiary of MODEC, a Japanese multinational specializing in the provision of competitive floating solutions for the oil & gas industry. This service contract is part of the exploitation of the oil resources of the Léopold Sedar Senghor FPSO of Woodside Energy's Sangomar project phase 1.

To reach this agreement, Sentrak Logistics participated in a strict and transparent tender launched by Modec which allowed it to be designated at the end. An action that has highlighted its remarkable progress in recent years as a local company that meets the requirements of the oil and gas industry.

This signing with a major player in the value chain is proof that market shares in local content will only increase when companies are willing to respect the highest industry standards and invest in the right way.

Let us recall that SENTRAK Logistics is already playing an important role in the development phase of the Sangomar project in its capacity as shipping agent, customs broker and logistics agent for several project stakeholders.
