In Africa, the logistics sector is becoming increasingly important in the economies of the continent's countries. The public and private sectors are now aware of the key role it must play in the dynamics of economic and social development. This new context is certainly creating an increased need for the recruitment of qualified professionals in the field.
It is in this sense that Africa Supply Chain is dedicating a special report to you on the subject of Supply Chain training, taking the example of Senegal.
The organization, optimization, management of physical and informational flows, that is to say Supply Chain Management, remain essential functions for all organizations (companies or public institutions) at all times.
In the era of Big Data, Block Chain, connected objects and sustainable development, expertise in the field of Supply Chain is now at the heart of the success of any organization, regardless of its size and location (as well as that of its market). Training in this field is certainly a winning bet for the future.
The growth of e-commerce and online shopping also suggests great future prospects for those who would like to pursue a career in logistics. Carriers, shippers, consulting firms, brokers, industries are always looking for specialists in the field.
Also, the health crisis has made it possible to note the preponderant role of this activity in the life of the country and internationally. While the economy of African countries is on its knees, logistics professionals are working hard to maintain the supply chain.
In this context of economic crisis, the logistics sector is one of the few to still express significant recruitment needs.
