Founded in 2011 in Senegal, International Drilling Company (IDC) is an African company specializing in mining surveys. Its staff is composed of 98% young Africans, who benefit from regular training to achieve the performance and quality objectives of their customers. IDC's quality of service is part of a real compliance program that brings together environmental, social, ethical and safety policies.
Responsive and flexible, IDC positions itself strategically with its partners, integrating international standards into its operational process. The Group is currently expanding rapidly with a sustained investment program: already 7 new machines acquired between 2022 and 2023. Its fleet of 25 drill rigs is deployed in Senegal, Mali, Ivory Coast and Guinea, both on exploration projects and in operating mines.
IDC's fleet houses a diverse range of drilling machines, from the best suppliers on the market: Schramm, AtlasCopco, PRD, Thor, Coretech, etc. A new PRD MultiStar has also recently joined the fleet.
It is a versatile device, capable of drilling using different methods, such as RC-DTH and core drilling, with a simple switch. Its versatility and ease of use have made it a star among explorers. It has a pulling force of 25.800 kg and its drilling capacities are as follows:
- DTH: 750 m @ 6 ½” (165 mm) diameter
- Core: PQ – 150 m; HQ – 450 m; NQ – 750 m
- RC: 400 m @ 140 mm (5 ½”)

Thus, during its participation in the 7th edition of the mining fair held at the Abdou Diouf International Conference Center (CICAD) in Dakar on October 3, 4 and 5, 2023, IDC exhibited its CR15 device in partnership with ITO Senegal, which handled customs formalities and delivery.
