Guerlain is looking for an International Logistics Engineer Intern (M/F) for its cosmetics production site based in Chartres (28).
Within the International Logistics Department, you will work closely with the Logistics, Transport/Customs and Customer Service teams.
You will be required to identify areas for improvement in order to propose and then implement solutions in the various activities of the department.
This internship will allow you to understand the operational functioning of the service and will lead you to the realization of various projects related to your subject of study.
- Job responsibilities
Your missions will be as follows:
- Analysis of activities related to the various processes identified in logistics, transport or customer service with a view to proposing areas for improvement;
- Analysis of transport flows with a view to their optimization;
- Using Power BI to maintain activity reports (transport, logistics & Customer Service) and/or create new ones;
Occasional participation in the daily tasks of the department. You will discover the downstream part of logistics and will be able to strengthen your theoretical knowledge by confronting real cases every day.
- Profile
You are currently in BAC+4/5 on a training course such as an engineering school or business school with a specialization in Supply Chain or Logistics. Ideally, you have already completed an internship in the field of logistics.
You are rigorous and autonomous, your excellent interpersonal skills make you a committed person and a force for proposals on various subjects related to the missions of the department.
You have a good command of office tools (office pack essential) and you carry out reporting activities on a regular basis.
Knowledge of SAP ERP would be a plus, as well as fluency in English. 6-month internship to be filled from the first quarter of 2025 on our cosmetics production site located in Chartres (28).
