A day of assessment
To follow this device people with disabilities must hold a heavy goods vehicle license or have forklift driver experience, to have for professional project to become a road freight driver or logistician and forklift truck driver.
For one day, the PECF is also accessible after an assessment in a real situation on a technical platform and/or with a suitable driving simulator, converted trucks or forklifts.
“A multidisciplinary health and safety team, composed of an Aftral disability representative, an Aftral trainer, an occupational therapist and a physical medicine and rehabilitation doctor from the medical and paramedical partner participate in the assessment by adding together the skills and expertise”, specifies Aftral in a press release.
At the end of this assessment day, a functional and sectoral capacity assessment is given to the beneficiary who can thus continue their journey towards employment and/or professional training.
