Cashew nut industry professionals met on April 10, 2025 at COSEC (Senegalese Shippers' Council) to prepare for the next export campaign.

A strategic meeting was held at COSEC headquarters, bringing together exporters, carriers, freight forwarders, banks, and public authorities. The objective: to learn lessons from past years and ensure the success of the 2025 campaign.

Among the priority measures, the strengthening of river-sea transport and the improvement of customs procedures were agreed upon. COSAMA, a key link in logistics, will be optimized to streamline exports.

The Director General of COSEC welcomed the commitment of stakeholders. She reaffirmed the institution's support for all initiatives aimed at boosting the sector and the national economy.

This consultation reflects a shared desire for efficiency. COSEC reaffirms its central role in supporting shippers for a successful 2025 campaign.
